Rafael Yockteng is a children’s book illustrator who was born in Lima, Peru and grew up in Colombia. He studied graphic design at the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogotá where he was inspired by his teachers. He has earned many awards for his works and in 2003 won the contest to illustrate the International Children’s Day poster.
