Grandfather's Journey Mini-Unit

Explore a mini-unit designed for first grade English Language Learners with a range of language proficiencies.  Using Visual Thinking Strategies, the Whole Book Approach, and multimodal activities, the educator supports the learners as they explore Grandfather's Journey, the concept and definition of “home”, as well as the associated emotions surrounding home or its absence.
