Cindy Trumbore began her publishing career in the 1980s. Nearly twenty years later, she published her first children's books-- four nonfiction books for classrooms and a fantasy novel for grade 2-5. Cindy became an award winning author for a number of her books, including Parrots over Puerto Rico, and she now works as a writing mentor at the Southampton's Children's Literature Fellows program.
