Eric Velasquez

Eric Velasquez is a children’s book illustrator, author, and storyteller who grew up in Spanish Harlem in New York City, drawing inspiration for his works from his experiences immersed in dual cultures there. He earned his BFA from the School of Visual Arts in 1983. He lives and works in Hartsdale, New York.
