Rafael López grew up in Mexico City, and is an artist, musicians, and children’s book illustrator. In 2012 he was selected by the Library of Congress to create the artwork for the National Book Festival in Washington D.C., and his murals are all over the U.S. Today he lives with his family and has studios in Mexico and San Diego.
