Bethany Hegedus is a children’s book author and the owner and creative director of the Writing Barn, a writing retreat and workshop space in Austin Texas. has worked as the Hunger Mountain Young Adult & Children’s Editor since 2009. She studied at the Vermont College of Fine Arts MFA program in Writing for Children & Young Adults.
