Margaret Courtney-Clarke is an illustrator and photojournalist, working to portray the human spirit and condition in her works. Born in Namibia in Southern Africa, she has focused much of her work on African people, architecture, and landscapes. She is a a graduate from the Natal College for Advanced Technical Education (South Africa), Scuola di Belle Arti (Rome) and New York University, and has been a photographer for over thirty years.
